Dr Cato is an experienced GP with an extended role in dermatology (GPwER), passionate about helping patients achieve healthier skin through expert, personalised care. She graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in Medicine in 2007 and completed her foundation training in West London. She went on to complete GP training in Brighton and Mid-Sussex in 2012, where she gained significant dermatology experience and developed a strong clinical interest in the field.

Following this, she obtained a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London, graduating with distinction. For over 10 years, she has worked extensively in dermatology services across South-East London, including Croydon, Greenwich, and Lewisham, as well as currently in Kent where she provides dermatology care across both secondary and intermediate services. She continues to work within the NHS as a GP in Swanley.

Dr Cato also holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine, contributing to a broad and well-rounded medical knowledge base. She is known for being very approachable, friendly, and thorough, with a kind and caring attitude. She takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and delivering high-quality, compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Throughout her career, she has been consistently rated positively in both patient and colleague feedback.

She stays up to date with her professional development by attending dermatology and general practice conferences annually, ensuring her care is always evidence-based and current.

Outside of work, Dr Cato enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She also has a passion for travelling, enjoys running to stay active, and likes spending time outdoors, especially gardening when time allows.
