About Tameem

Dr Nazhat (MRCGP, PGDip Dermatology) is a nationally accredited GP with an extended role in Medical Dermatology (GPwER). Dr Nazhat graduated from Baghdad Medical School in 1997 and has been passionate about dermatological conditions since early in his medical career. He worked as a GP registrar and later as a GP in a dermatology department in Baghdad for five years before moving to the UK, where he gained experience across various hospital specialties.

After completing his GP training in the West Midlands in 2017, he continued to pursue his interest in skin health. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University in 2022 with distinction and completed dermoscopy training at Cardiff University to enhance his diagnostic skills. Dr Nazhat undertook further dermatology training through the GPwER (GP with Extended Role) programme at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, where he remains involved in clinical work. He is also a member of the St John’s Dermatological Society, part of the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology.

Dr Nazhat provides consultations for both adults and children, with clinical interests including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hyperpigmentation, hair loss, and mole checks. He is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based dermatological care in both NHS and private settings in London.
